OpenAI setup guide

1. Create an API key

Log in to platform.openai.com, open the API Keys page from the left sidebar. Click Create new secret key, give it a name, and copy the key.

2. Supported models

ShortlistKit supports the following OpenAI models for CV scoring:

• GPT-4.1 (gpt-4.1)
• GPT-4.1 mini (gpt-4.1-mini)

3. Add it to ShortlistKit

1. Go to the API & integrations page.
2. In the Your AI key section, select OpenAI as the provider.
3. Choose the model you want to use for scoring.
4. Paste your API key and click Save key.

4. Test and manage your key

After saving, click Test key to verify ShortlistKit can reach OpenAI with your credentials. If the test fails, check that the key is active and has not been revoked in your OpenAI console.

To remove a key, click Remove next to the saved credential. You can add a new key at any time.

Your API keys are encrypted at rest and never displayed again after saving.
